Insects play a very fundamental role in the balance of very many different ecosystems. They present a wide variety of benefits to human beings, and make work easier in some ways. However, insects can also be very dangerous and destructive to human beings and their environments too. Ranging from poisonous bites to being devastating pests, human beings have to develop ways to keep insects away from their environments.

One way of keeping them away is by use of insect repellent which is applied on surfaces and places. They can be applied on exterior spaces, skin or on clothing.
