Other items usually have a piece of cardboard on the back and the plastic is attached on the front. This allows consumers to see the product and the plastic also is quite protective. Technically a clamshell package is a blister pack that simply folds onto itself.

Plastic trays are also packaging trays for several items, and these are also into the thermoforming industry. If you happen to open a bag of cookies, you will see these placed in trays, and this is for protection, and this is just an example. Various types of trays are also used for holding syringes and bottles of medicines for injections, and these are used by doctors and others in the medical profession. There should be sections and these should fit the size of items to be secured, and the trays should be created this way.
