Instagram is a name that anyone who's involved in social media knows about. It's an app that's meant for sharing out photos, commenting on and liking them in the process. Of course, there are several users that this app has to take into account and I am sure that anyone will be able to attest to this. What's become a major talking point, as of late, is Instagram's broad audience. Internet marketing firms, across the board, cannot overlook such a point either.

The proverbial notch in the cap, as mentioned earlier, is that Instagram has been able to amass 300 million subscribers around the world. What's even more impressive, in my view, is that fact that this exceeds the number of users seen on Twitter. Seeing as how Twitter is no small name, either, this point is especially noteworthy.

It's important to keep in mind that, back in March, Instagram had a total of 200 million subscribers; this was before Facebook purchased the brand.
